The PlayStation 3, abbreviated as the PS3, is the third installment of the PlayStation series of home games-consoles by Sony, released worldwide from 2006 to 2007.
It has so far gone through three redesigns: the original launch 'fat' model; the Slim; and the newly-released 'Super'-Slim, as pictured.
