The Grizzly

An endurance test, and the highlight of the Monument Valley festival, the Grizzly proved to be the ultimate test of ability for the gearheads, featuring flat-out racing through mud and rock over the longest course they could make.

"A Taste Of Violence" - Any Class - "This is your Motorstorm initiation, but don't expect it to be a stroll in the sand. Prove to the pack you know what route to take - go high in the lighter vehicles, stay low in the heavy ones. You can let loose with the boost when you hit the back straight."
"Pump 'n' Grind" - Any Class - "None of these vehicles are slow, but the routes get faster from right to left. Rock, paper, scissors dudes!"
"Carnage" - Any Class - "You're getting used to the Grizzly now, right? Lighter vehicles suit the higher ground - get on it as soon as possible. Then you'll all meet up by the festival wall: boost like hell to get away."
"TrickStorm" - Any Class - "The Grizzly has many hidden routes; some will give you an advantage, others will bite you in the ass. You should've learned where these are by now. If you haven't, pay attention."
"Die Hardest" - Any Class - "Clench your cheeks, it's MotorStorm time again. Seriously, things are going to be a lot more challenging from now on. Come strapped with a diaper."
"ThunderStorm" - Any Class - "What vehicle did you pick? Either way this is going to be one of the toughest challenges around. Hey, to get this far you're a expert already. Maybe you'll breeze it. Ha!"
"RiftStorm" - Any Class - "Choose your vehicle wisely - as you know, everything has it's strengths on The Grizzly, so you need to pick the vehicle you're most comfortable with. Old rivalries will be renewed, bitter enemies will seek revenge for transgressions past. Keep your eyes and ears open, and your head in the race."
"MotorStorm" - Any Class - "This is the big one. The last MotorStorm. You're an expert in every vehicle now - so choose the one you love the most and make this one to remember. It's been a blast."

Revenge Weekend Event[]

"Skidmarks... Set... Go!" - Buggies - "Another break from tradition - Buggies vs Pluggers, racing the Grizzly. Here's a useful pointer - if you remember nothing else about this race, you'll at least have one worthwhile life-lesson to teach your grandkinds from your time spent MotorStorming; 'Pluggers just flat-out HATE Buggies. Joy, fun, and carnage in the sun await!"

Devil's Weekend Event[]

"Dirt Pact" - ATVs - "A Lightweights-only race on Grizzly, but you couldn't accuse this of being a lightweight challenge. On an ATV you have the advantage that you can get down and dirty in the mud where others fear to tread, but is avoiding the other racers the key here, or do you face off against them on the high ground? Remember, you have no fate but that which you manage to fluke for yourself."

Trivia[]

This is the only track in Monument Valley (in the standard game - not including DLC) that you can drive every vehicle class on, in "MotorStorm" races signified by the golden MotorSkull badge.
The Grizzly has lended its name to a track in MotorStorm RC, called the Grizzly's Den.
The Grizzly is the first track to be played in every level of difficulty before progressing forward.
The Grizzly is the only track in MotorStorm history which doesn't place players at the start/finish line before a race. Instead, players must launch from a landrush start and race an extra half-lap before even beginning the race.
